Confederate motorcycles, the quintessentially American symbol for abundance in motorbiking, has come up with yet another ass-kicking 2 wheeler called the X132 Hellcat Speedster. It definitely has a long and quirky name, and looks equally alien in design. The Speedster looks like kind of an improvement over the already popular X132 Hellcat, that our very own M.S. Dhoni proudly owns.
Conceived by ex-Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche, this bike is a treat to look at. Very rare unfaired machines have such huge road presence! But that’s exactly what you get when your bike is machined from two blocks of billet 6061 aircraft grade aluminum. With a one piece carbon fiber fuel tank, and a tractor-style seat finished off with a tiny rail light, no other bike can match the distinctive looks of this mean machine.
The Confederate X132 Hellcat Speedster (long long name), uses oodles of carbon fiber and other exotic materials in its hand-built construction. As with all things awesome, only limited numbers of this third generation of X132 series would be produced from Confederate’s Alamaba based factory, which is 65. Check out some of the mind boggling numbers about this one hell of a machine:
- $65,000 (~ 40 lac Rupees) cost, $10,000 (~ 6 lac Rupees) deposit
- 2,163 cc V-twin engine
- 121 HP power
- 190 Nm (holy fuck!) torque
- 227 Kgs weight
- 5 speed gearbox
- Chain drive
- Adjustable WP shocks
- Beringer brakes
- 18 inch BST carbon fiber wheels
- 13.5 liter fuel tank
So, yeah, this kitty is not for the faint hearted, or people who don’t own a yacht. The Hellcat is one of the fastest naked America made motorcycles, and even a tiny scratch on this beauty is going to hurt you deep inside the balls (Guys with vaginas will rarely buy such a machine). Although the Speedster is designed with thoughts of drag racing in mind, I REALLY doubt even one of the 65 pieces will even see a drag strip, or even a public road for that matter!
Shitty rich people.
